Colors for TV

Ever put on a shirt and suddenly look more energized, glowing, and confident? Or maybe you’ve worn a color that made you look tired or washed out? That’s the power of Color Season Analysis—a simple way to find the shades that naturally enhance your features and make you look amazing on camera.

I use this method to help my clients choose colors that work with their unique skin tone, hair, and eye color—so they look polished and professional in every video, photo, or live appearance.

How it Works

Step 1: Find Your Skin’s Undertone

Your undertone is the “temperature” of your skin—warm, cool, or neutral. Here’s how to tell:

  • Warm Undertones – Your skin has golden, peachy, or yellow hues. Gold jewelry looks great on you, and earthy colors like warm reds, oranges, and golden yellows bring out your natural glow.

  • Cool Undertones – Your skin has pink, blue, or neutral undertones. Silver jewelry flatters you, and you shine in jewel tones like sapphire blue, emerald green, and icy pastels.

Not sure? Look at the veins on your wrist. Greenish veins usually mean warm undertones, while bluish veins point to cool tones.

Step 2: Consider Your Hair & Eye Color

Your natural hair and eye color help fine-tune your season:

  • Warm Seasons (Spring & Autumn): If your hair has golden, auburn, or honey tones and your eyes are warm (green, hazel, warm brown), warm, earthy colors will complement you best.

  • Cool Seasons (Summer & Winter): If your hair is ashy blonde, brown, or black and your eyes are blue, grey, or deep brown, cooler shades will bring out your natural vibrancy.

Step 3: Find Your Color Season

Once we know your undertone and coloring, you fit into one of four seasonal palettes:
🌸 Spring – Warm & Bright (coral, peach, turquoise, clear greens)
☀️ Summer – Cool & Soft (dusty blues, rose pink, lavender, muted greys)
🍁 Autumn – Warm & Deep (olive green, mustard, rust, chocolate brown)
❄️ Winter – Cool & Bold (black, crisp white, royal blue, deep emerald)

Why Does This Matter On Camera?

The right colors make your skin look fresh and glowing, bring out your eyes, and create a polished, professional appearance—without needing extra makeup or filters! On the flip side, the wrong colors can make you look tired or washed out.

I use Color Season Analysis to help my clients choose on-camera clothing that flatters them and boosts their confidence. Whether you’re prepping for a TV interview, recording content, or showing up in your brand’s best light, knowing your best colors makes a huge difference.
